Today when arriving home there was a package in my mailbox marked Helsinki from Britt Vuorio who is in the VPI group I belong to. She is a remarkable lady who creates the most beautiful artwork and ATC's! Last spring she was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. My Father in Law has this disease and I know how much it can change someones life. Britt won the April VPI Winner take all ATC swap back in 2011 and I sent her a little package with some ephamera, a card and some encouraging words along with the ATC she had won. For those of you who don't know much about Parkinson's Disease here is the run down:

Parkinson's disease is a disorder of the brain that leads to shaking Tremors and Difficulty with walking, movement, and coordination.

Parkinson's disease most often develops after age 50. It is one of the most common nervous system disorders of the elderly. Sometimes Parkinson's disease occurs in younger adults. It affects both men and women. In some cases, Parkinson's disease runs in families. When a young person is affected, it is usually because of a form of the disease that runs in thier families.

Artwork I believe can break through many Challenges. My good friend Judy Keefe has a crippling disease and has to wear braces on her hands. She works through pain and a disability most will never understand to make fabulous, breathtaking artwork she does miniatures and also makes beautiful dolls. She is such an inspiration of perseverance and determination. I bring her up because both of these ladies have truly inspired me!

Valentine Gift and Love True Love!

Don't you just love that saying! It makes me laugh because it is oh so true. Have you ever thought there really is someone for everyone in this world when you see some couples. I think love is Grand! I have the most wonderful Husband he says he knew from the moment he saw me he was going to marry me or die trying.... He would say I love you and I would reply you just think you do (because I thought how could someone love you when never having met!)

It makes me smile now he wooed me and chased me, bought me gifts and was relentless! At first we just went out with friends but I began to love him back his sense of humor, his honor, his gentlemenleness (if that is a word) He swept me off my feet! We began dating and here we are. That was 34 years ago and look at us today married 32 wonderful years 4 children and 5 grandchildren later. My heart still skips a beat when he has been gone and comes home. His smile brightens my day and his voice soothes my soul.

My favorite Movie is the Princess Bride I felt a bit like Buttercup I think... happy to be around my Clay or to her Westley but lost in the reality that there could be more. This is my favorite line....

"That day, she was amazed to discover that when he was saying "As you wish", what he meant was, "I love you." And even more amazing was the day she realized she truly loved him back."

The day I realized I truly loved my Clay back my heart beat so hard I was shaking and I quickly... and I do mean Quickly said after his "I love You" I love you too! He stopped walking and said what did you say please say it again! I said I do believe I love you too! He picked me up swung me around in a circle (I was much lighter then that wouldn't be happening today!) and laughed this crazy, joyous laugh and said I knew you would some day and now I am the happiest man in the world! I will never forget that day it is so ewww kind of mushy the kind your kids say Yuck about! But it was Wonderful!

If you have never seen the Movie The Princess Bride it is A tale of true love and high adventure, pirates, princesses, giants, miracles, fencing, and a frightening assortment of wild beasts—As Florin and Guilder teeter on the verge of war, the reluctant Princess Buttercup is devastated by the loss of her true love, kidnapped by a mercenary and his henchmen, rescued by a pirate, forced to marry Prince Humperdinck, and rescued once again by the very crew who absconded with her in the first place. It is so worth seeing I think I will have to watch it today so I can laugh and have that feeling of Ohhhh so Awesome Love True Love!

I guess I should quit chattering. I am feeling better finally the bug I had has gone and I am feeling more like myself. I do hope your Valentine's day is Wonderful and filled with the Love of your family and friends. I am attaching a Collage sheet and some goodies for you. New things in the works!

Just wanted to stop in and say hi:) I have been battling a virus this is going on day 6 my head is clogged, my eyes are running and I have a cough. It couldn't be that one day it is 70 degrees and the next 25 degrees how can any one get well in those crazy temps.

Last week I put together a Faerie Princess Twinchie Sheet which is in my etsy store but will find it's way to Moonlight Journey when Lynne gets a free moment to put it on the site....A free moment you migh ask what is that! We don't know neither one of us have to many!

The next thing I wanted to share was a Free Valentine's Day sheet we offered in this months Newsletter. I do believe in Faeries!

Once upon a time, I thought faeries lived only in books, old folktales, and the past. That was before they burst upon my life as vibrant, luminous beings, permeating my art and my everyday existence, causing glorious havoc.

I love Brian Frouds work I can relate to him. I have spent countless hours looking at his books and reading about all Faerie Folk recounting stories told to me by my Mother and Grandmother of the Faeries that dance in the cool breeze in the garden. The last 2 weeks I was able to spend Many Wonderful hours with my Sisters and my Mother playing with my new Nephew and recounting fun things we remember from our childhood. I am the oldest of 6 children and both of my Sisters are quite a bit younger so it is interesting how close we are. My youngest sister is just a few months older than my oldest daughter. We have formed a special bond my Sisters, my Mother and my Daughters. We share a love of the things we have learned and are still learning and we pass the stories and traditions started by my Grandmother and my Mother on to our children and now on to my Grandchildren. We try to get together weekly (we send pictures and phone my Sister in Wyoming) for Girls Day and we craft and cook and shop and go to lunch and sometimes we just visit and laugh and tell stories. I know I will always have a special place in my heart for Faeries and the magic they bring into my life. That Magic will always be a part of me and hopefully my family also. I have been working on some new collage sheets as you can guess Faeries are my inspiration... and have a couple of pieces of artwork to share with you. I took old Victorian Cabinet Card Photos and through the magic of digital editing programs....yes that is right more than one have created something I hope you like. You are welcome to save them to your computer and use them in your artwork. Please do not claim them as your own but enjoy them just the same. I thought they may make nice Valentines I used them along with a few others in a Collage sheet to make an Accordian Book it is currently on my Etsy Site.

Merry Christmas!

It is finally here! The most wonderful time of the year! Christmas Eve! JOY OH JOY! Time with family small smiles and giggles as Santa Claus comes this eve! Also the birth of our Savior the real reason for the season. A wonderful miss mash of Holiday Cheer and Gratitude to a loving Heavenly Father who sent his son to the Earth to redeem us all.

As we prepare for the Christmas Eve party and time with the Family I listen to Christmas music I LOVE Christmas Music! Santa Banner

Dear Santa Altered Cabinet Cards

I can feel the crisp in the air...maybe snow....maybe ice! Whatever that cold breeze is bringing is getting me in a Christmas Mood! I can almost hear the carolers at my door and smell hot chocolate on the stove. Next weekend we will pick out our live tree and begin the festive trimming! I am working very hard to get my Christmas cards ready to pop in the mail and so that means more creating! WOO HOO! Here are some new Cabinet Cards with Santa and elves who can resist a good Santa card! They are in my etsy shop and when Lynne can get a breath they will make their way to the Moonlight Journey site.

New Craft Project...Altered Cabinet Cards

Do you ever just lay in bed with thoughts swimming through your head...you can't sleep becuase you know you are going to figure whatever it is out any time now! Well I do that often:) This last week in one of my non-sleep filled nights I thought about making a collage sheet of Altered Cabinet Cards. I have looked at pictures and read turorials on them and thought I bet these would be fun and make great gifts! SO....here is what I have come up with.

Cabinet Cards were 4 1/4" X 6 1/2" or 5 1/4 " X 7 1/2" so I opted for the smaller size and that let me fit 2 to a page! I made some cabinet card backs and scanned a wooden stand I have for pictures and worked with it to get the right size to hold up the finished cards. When all of the kinks were worked out this is what I ended up with.

Right now they are only for sale in my etsy store but by next week I know Lynne will have them on the Moonlight Journey Site.

Here are the finished cards...I used Distressing ink around the edges and rounded the corners on one but not the other. I put German Glass glitter on the stars and snowflakes to bring a bit of sparkle to the page and used my wax pencil for color on the lips and my mineral blush on the cheeks. You could embellish any way you would like. I think they would make great Christmas Cards or if you use Mat Board or Heavy Cardboard in between layers they stand up beautifully and really look antique and would make a great Holiday display!

I really enjoyed making this project so be looking for more Cabinet Cards in the future!

Overwhelming Design Team Call response:)

We are posting this today instead of Monday as no new applicants came in yesterday.

Lynne and I so appreciate your application to be on the design team. We had an overwhelming response to this call so many designers applied! It was a very hard decison as each person's artwork was so unique. In the end we choose 3 people not just one in diffrent venues which will be good advertising for them and also for us. To those whom we did not choose....Your artwork was splendid and we hated to say no to you or any one else. Thank you again for all who answered the call we hope you go far with your beautiful designs!

Design Team Artist Call for Moonlight Journey!

Lynne and I would love to have an artists that creates Jewelry on our design team. We have many jewelry sheets and only a couple of pieces of beautiful artwork by our design team members to show them off. If you are interested here are the rules:

The first order of business is to tell you that Lynne & I are co-owners of MoonlightJourney and are one in the same when it comes to the operations. You may contact Us at Moonlight Journey just click on the Contact link and you can e-mail us with your request from there. We will then send you an e-mail address where you can send photos or a link to your artwork.

As Design Team Artists you are duty bound to send artwork when you can. There is no time limit but we ask that you try your best. This is a great opportunity for you to get noticed as an artist and you will recieve free collage sheet and digital goodies which are a really nice part of this too!

If you create physical art, you need to use at least two of our sheet images in the work. More of them is nice but none of us can work without other supplies.

You may create whatever you are comfortable with. This call is specifically for someone who creates jewelry but altered shrines or other ways to use our collage sheets are also welcomed.

All work that you create is yours and you are welcome to sell it for profit but you will need to send us a photo to post on our Design Team page before selling the item. all e-mailed images will belong to Moonlight Journey.

As long as you are willing to join this endeavor, here is what you need to do:

1st please send us photos or a link to a place where we can view your artwork. If you are chosen to be on the Design Team Lynne and I will contact you with the good news and we can get started on our journey together!

2nd You will be required to print out the collage sheets yourself if you are chosen to be on the design team so you will need a printer. You will be required to send us photos of your completed work so you need a camera or a scanner.

4th The only pay you will get is collage sheets or digital stuff from our site free. Yes, you will get recognition on our site too but since we’re all poor working folks, no money will change hands. You are not bound to us for life either. If things get too intense for you, just let us know that you can’t cope and we will release you!

SO LET THE CREATING BEGIN!!!!! We are so excited to see what you have to offer and hope to have a fantastic working relationship with the Artist chosen to be on our team!

It is FINALLY HERE! Halloween! This is the Last page in All of My Friends are Witches! WOO HOO Let the binding begin! It won't be done for Halloween but that is OK it will be finished for the next year's festivities!

I have a couple of Treats to share they arrived at the end of last week and I have been saving them for the big day! The first is a swap in my VPI group called It's Wichcrart....aren't the cards just fabulous!

My best Halloween memory is from childhood (back in the Dark Ages) and I lived on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. There was a gentleman who threw nickels on the sidewalk to us children for Trick or Treat since we didn’t go door-to-door back then. We all knew him because he lived a few blocks away. Perhaps you remember him... Al Lewis as in Grandpa Munster.

As a bit of background, MoonlightJourney is a collaboration between myself and Becky (whymsicalmusings on Etsy) and we combined our talent for our website even though we maintain our separate Etsy stores. Becky and I enjoy working together even though we live a thousand miles away from each other.

Today when I arrived home and went to the mailbox there was an envelope and inside I found this Fabulous, Fantastic, Totally Incredible bracelet! Not a trick which really made my day ! Oh my gosh where has the day gone! OH YA! Working in the office one daughter sick so doing 2 jobs being sent to the bank stopping by the fabric store to pick up cording for DH's pajama pants which he just has to have fixed today, driving in horrible traffic only to get home and be sent the opposite direction to pick up medication for DH and my son. Loaded up all of the dogs to go for a ride to the Pharmacy which was a CRAZY thing to do...slobber all over from the Mastiff in the back seat. Hair all over in the front from the pug and OMG I AM WEARING BLACK which is now covered with beautiful Pugger tan hair....OH WELL hopefully no one will notice my oddly angora looking black shirt in the pharmacy...chipoo smashed in his riding seat because jealous pugger sat on him thought there was enough room for 2 I guess.... while in the pharmacy! Stopped at the dollar store needed a couple of things I forgot and picked up a chew toy for each of the pups! Back home where the phone rang and my daughter forgot something while in the office that she needed for the kids tomorrow. Back on the road stuck in a traffic jam DARN ROAD WORK! To daughters house delivery made Back in the truck and finally home! Looked at the clock good grief is it really time to get dinner! NO not before I make a mad dash back to the office to check MY email and blog before I foget........BTW did something fabulous show up in my mailbox from Nancy isn't that what this post is all about? I don't want to ruin the surprise but it really is wonderful made the madness of the whole day worth it! I hope to be able to put up my feet and look for some apps for my Ipad and perhaps enjoy a quiet evening watching Hocus Pocus it is already the 11th and I haven't even popped in my favorite Halloween movie! Oh YA that is if I can find the All in 1 remote which vanished at the Birthday Party Saturday night for my Granddaughters. Dug through the trash and lifted up and poked through all of the chairs and couch NO SIGN OF IT!!!! I am just sure a really wicked Witch stopped by and was not caught in my Witches ball because it must have to much crap around it for her to be drawn in.... So I will need to look for the Satellite remote the TV remote the Blu Ray player remote and the remote for the Surround sound....sounds like a lot of work just to watch 1 DARN HALLOWEEN MOVIE!!!!!! Maybe tomorrow will bring some down time so I can scrub the rug in my bedroom which is a bit smelly from the puppy pee fest of last week (watched mom and dad's puppy for a couple of weeks and pugger didn't like it! Marked all over his sleeping area!) and get my bed washed darn thing smells like homeless people sleep there!

Back to the Fabulous, Fantastic, Totally Incredible bracelet! Inside was the Halloween gift from my sweet friend Nancy Vanhoose over at Her Art Nest. She is such a splendid Artist I do hope you will stop by her blog and take a look. Her artwork always takes my breath away.

When I look at the Pages I have scanned I hate that you can see the White Mounting Tape and the Glue Residue. I think it is interesting to note you can not see these when looking at the pages in real life. The scanner we have in the office is REALLY GOOD and picks up everything! I use the Mounting Tape to make a 3D effect and many of the elements on the page stand out although my REALLY GOOD scanner doesn't show that at all!

Now for your TREAT! This recipe is SOOOOO easy but simply divine my Brother In Law Jason is a HUGE pumpkin fan and he LOVED this when I made it for Dinner when he and my Beautiful Sister Lisa came and spent a Weekend. THIS IS FOR YOU... JAS Love you and miss you both!

I cut out a tree from some interesting Scrapbooking Paper and used my Martha Stewart Leaf Punch on a scrap of scrapbooking paper for the leaves. Journey. The house is one I have in my stash:)

All my Friends are Witches!

I have started a new project....Let me explain a bit about how this came to be. This summer while shopping at an outlet hobby store with my beautiful daughters. I came across some fun and fabulous Halloween paper! My daughters love Halloween also so we were all very excited! Summer you might ask yourself really they are shopping in the Summer for Halloween! If you really know me you know how much I LOVE HALLOWEEN! Not the creepy scary stuff the fun and fabulous spooktacular witchey kind of stuff!

So back to the papers. I have no idea where they came from it looked as though a book had fallen apart and there were the loose sheets in a stack of other loose sheets for sale for 25 cents a piece! Oh my goodness! A BARAGAIN!!!! So my beautiful daughters and I scooped up and divided the papers and right then and there I decided to make a Halloween book. I have made several altered Halloween books over the years but I have never made one for myself.

This book would be about Witches and spells, potions and all things fun and mystical! I am not Wiccan although my daughters acuse me of being a closet Wiccan because I have always loved making as they call them my potions. Skin creams, Mineral makeup, things to cure tummy aches and cuts and bruises. I have always grown herbs and use them for many things not just cooking. There is a whole wealth of information out there about herbology and I want to learn it all!

So I had this old 7 gypsys book back and cover drawing dust on the shelf and decided this will be the perfect book for it! When I have all of my pages cut and glued together I had 28 pages to go on the inside plus the front and back covers! WOW way more than I expected! But I love each one and decided to print and cut out haunted or Victorian looking houses, Witches from collage sheets that Lynne and I have created (a shameless plug for Moonlight Journey!) Moons and words and elements. I used a few from Lisa's Altered Art also I just love her sheets! I did this while sitting with my Dear Hubby in the Hospital and also while watching TV with him during recovery at home. I ordered German Scrap and a few embellishments and put together the tons of Halloween things I already had.

Now on to creating! I have the front and back covers finished also 2 pages both front and back. It is so easy once the hard stuff like cutting out everything is done. I set out my pages and begin gluing and I also love 3D effects so I use mounting tape cut to fit behind many of the pieces. I am going to tie the book together when finished with many fibers and ribbon rather than binding it. I love the look of all of the colors dangling with charms from the many ribbons and fibers. I make sure and glue everything with Aleenes quick clear dry tacky glue so tiny fingers can not pick any thing off when looking at it. A trick I learned the hard way (tiny fingers are so inquisitive).

I thought I would share 1 or 2 pages a day with you along with a treat so by the end of the month your treat bag should be full! I will share pictures both JPG and Png and I will share recipes my family loves! These are things I hope all of my friends here will enjoy. Since I can't send all of you a special Halloween gift I thought this year I would share this way. I may miss a day here or there especially if I need to go out of town with DH to look at job sites or deliver materials. We own our own business so this happens sometimes but I will try to post at least 4 to 5 times a week so be ready!

When I start making Witch cards it is always a good day!

Witch cards already you ask yourself.....She is working on Witch cards! Of course my silly followers the magic and fantasy of the Halloween Season are just a month away!

What is going on in your neck of the woods?

Well Lynne and I are stuck in totally different situations right now. I am sure many others are suffering the same fate. Lynne is in Port Jervis, New York and I am in Hinton, Oklahoma way across the country for each other. Lynne is dealing with record amounts of rain in her area and flooding that is still happening even though Irene has been gone for a while. She has 4 THAT IS RIGHT 4 sump pumps in her basement trying to keep the water from entering the main level of her house. 1 of them went out yesterday and within 15 minutes the water level rose 6". She and her husband have had many sleepless nights and have to check the pumps about every 20 minutes. My heart is with her! I wish I were there to help her! And yet she keeps up with the Moonlight Journey Site she is the web wizard you know! I do the newsletter not half as hard as taking care of the site I am sure! Of course we both create but due to our current circumstances neither of us has done much new.

We have been in drought along with Texas many wild fires have raveged both states. This is the driest summer ever recorded. No rain in site! Lakes and ponds are dried up or well on their way to drying up. The river near my home is just sand a new one for us! Trees are dying everywhere and the land is barren and cracking. Farmers are selling their cattle because there is no hay and those who are selling from areas not affected by the drought are selling to the poor drought stricken farmers for ridiculous prices! A bale of hay that went for $30.00 last year is being sold for well over a $100.00 this year! Honey bee farms are having no production and crops have failed. Wish we could come to a happy medium and share the dry with the North and they could send some rain our way!

Lynne and I talk about packing up and meeting at a Cabin in a cool and well watered area where we can talk, craft and play on our Ipads.....a good dream we hope to someday full fill....that is if either of us can ever leave the chaos of our homes:)

I guess I just wanted everyone to know I am thinking of each of you. Whatever your circumstance my you be blessed and your needs met.

Last pages in Faerie Cat and Dog Books

Well the pages are finished for my granddaughter's books. I just have all of the fibers to add to the Outside edges and the fun charms to dangle from them. Gabbrielle's birthday is first in October she has the Dog Book. Alexandra's birthday is on Christmas Day she has the Cat book.
They always say they wish they were sisters and they can hardly wait to see each other. It is so cute to see them run up screaming and hugging each other when it has been a few weeks since they have been together. They live far enough a part during the school year they don't see each other every week. Gabrielle is on the Left and Alexandra is on the right. Both have sweet freckles sprinkled across their noses you can't see them in the pictures though.

I do hope you have enjoyed seeing the books. I have enjoyed so much making them! I am so glad they both wanted one:)

Faerie Dog and Faerie Cat Altered Books are Under way

If you have been following along you know I am making Altered Books for my Granddaughters for their upcoming Birthdays. Gabrielle asked me to make a Faerie Dog Book and right in suit Alexandra asked for a Faerie Cat Book.

Gabby will be 11 in October and Lexy will be 12 in December so I really needed to get them going. When I can't sleep or when I get a spare moment....LIKE WHEN DOES THAT HAPPEN!....the spare moment I mean:) I work on their books which are coming along nicely. I Have both the front and back cover of their books done. WOO HOO for Grandmother!

I used the Faerie Dog and Faerie Cat collage sheets which you can find on Moonlight Journey and papers from K&Company I LOVE THEM! I love black and white so I used them for edges and stems and did a lot of doodling and added jewels and crowns and other fun elements for a variety of places. I am really enjoying this project so look for more pages to come!

Fun new Faerie Collage Sheets!

I spent the last couple of days putting together a few new sheets. These are on Etsy but not Moonlight Journey yet. In fact I haven't even sent them to Lynne to put on the site. She is so busy with the Port Jervis Dog Walk which she heads up every year in her area to raise money for the shelter animals that I hate to bother her with any thing else:)

Two of my granddaughters want an altered art book for their birthday this year sooo at their requests....a Dog Faerie Book and a Cat Faerie Book! I thought I ought to get busy since one Birthday is in October the other in December. I have some fabulous papers and lots of fun things to put in their books but I really need to get busy to get them finished in time. I procrastinate way to much!

I will share pages as I complete them but don't look for any thing to soon as I am way behind!

These sheets reminded me of a saying from Alice in Wonderland.... "If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?" I love Alice and her fun philosophy!

So it is when you own your own business and have a side business with a fabulous partner named Lynne! While I have been on the road with my sweet Hubby in New Mexico Lynne has been very creative and has been working on a new FREE Ipad Wallpaper! She just got a new Ipad 2 and I have one that my sweet Hubby bought for my Birthday in May so we are both App crazy and having a ball!

Collage Sheet Witches Domino Book

I just created a new collage sheet. I know Autumn is a long way off but I can't help myself sometimes. I love Haloween and I love creating fun projects so here is a new one. I have been working on this for a while even though it doesn't look like much a lot of work went into it. It was alot of fun and I can't wait to make the Witches Domino book my self! Helping Those In Need

During June we are donating to a special
project near to Becky’s heart.
Terrible tornados touched down near her home
causing great devastation for 60 miles,
nearly ½ mile to 1 mile wide through that whole area.

The American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma
is helping all of the families touched by this tragedy.
For every sheet sold through the month
of June, we will donate $1.00 to the
American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma
Dept. No.96-0397
Oklahoma City, OK 73196
to help with clean up and the personal needs
of the families devastated by the tornado
of May 24th 2011.

That means if you buy 1 sheet we donate $1.00,
5 sheets $5.00, 10 sheets $10.00 so on and so forth.

the $1 donation will come from our profits.

Tornado near my Home in Calumet Oklahoma

To begin this post I first want to thank all of the wonderful friends and followers who have contacted me as to my saftety and well being. My heart and my families hearts have been touched. We are safe and well but many others in my area have lost everything and my heart breaks for them. There is so much devistation and destruction and yet through it all lives were spared and the sun is shining making cleanup in my are a bit easier.

As we drive around it is hard to comprehend the aftermath of Mother Nature's Fury. But people here have strong faith and no one is a stranger. Everyone pitches in and helps and does what needs to be done. I feel usless in situations like these but do what I can where I can. The pictures I am sharing are within 3/4 of a mile to 5 miles from my home. My son and I were watching the tornados yes that is right 3 tornados form over our house. We went to the bathroom with the tornado tie downs on the end of the house and sat as we felt the air change. You could feel the pressure in the air. The doors and windows began to suck inward and it was hard to breathe....with a heavy sigh and popping all went back to place and the tornado which became one sat down that short 3/4 of a mile from the house and started its 1/2 mile to mile wide path of destruction for the next 60 miles as it blew through.

I might explain I live in a natural low area in a canyon and there has never been a torando reported in this area in all the time that records have been kept. The storms split at the low and track around us.

This storm was so unnerving and frightful! I am saddened that at my being spared many in my rural community lost everything. Our friends 3 story house was left just a foundation and thier neighbor's 2 story house is the same. They are digging giant pits and pushing the ruble in to burn what is left.

I am attaching pictures and a video here some are my own pictures and some are others. It was hard to take pictures I felt as though I were infringing on those who had lost so much so there are just a few. I have tears as I sit here typing but feel that all should see how blessed we truly are to have been spared with life. Material things can be replaced.

Cupcake Wrapper Digital Collage Sheets!

This week I went with my daughters, my sister and my mother to the most fabulous shop called the Pinkitzel it is a cupcake and candy store extraordinaire! We had so much fun looking and buying and just wandering around in a happy bliss......Ah to be a child again and just enjoy the sweet things in life.

Pinkitzel is the dream and creation of Cher Casso, Christa and Jonathan Jantz, three Oklahoma City residents who wanted to create a special place in Bricktown that would be a fun place to visit and full of bright colors, amazing flavors and incredible decorating and design.
With inspiration from Willy Wonka to Marie Antoinette to Alice in Wonderland, entering Pinkitzel is like coming into a modern and whimsical world full of sugar, sweets and tasty delights.

Boy did they achieve thier goal! It truly is amazing! While there I had a spark of inspiration....I came home and got out my scrapbooking paper and cut and glued until I thought I had just the right look and put together 3 new collage sheets.
